Terms of Service for Online Writing Coaching

Welcome to ELT Coaching (“we,” “us,” “our”), an online academic tutoring and coaching service. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our online writing coaching services (“Services”). By booking a session, purchasing a digital product, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. If you are under 18, you must have parental or legal guardian consent.

2. Services Provided

ELT Coaching offers online writing and academic coaching, which may include:

• One-on-one tutoring or coaching sessions delivered through virtual video platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
• Strategic advice on how to achieve your academic goals.
• Personalized feedback on written documents provided during your online session.

We Do Not:

1. provide ghostwriting (i.e., we will not write your documents for you) 
2. guarantee admission to any program or institution,
3. guarantee a specific outcome or grade related to your work, or
4. condone plagiarism of any sort.

3. Client Responsibilities

By using our Services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information upon request.
• Present only your own original work during tutoring and coaching sessions.
• Behave respectfully and professionally during interactions.

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Sharing online session recordings or ELT Coaching proprietary materials without our written consent.
• Using our services to produce plagiarized or unethical work.
• Engage in abusive or harassing behavior toward your tutor or coach.

4. How Payments, Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling Work

a)  How We Accept Payments

Payment is due prior to time of online session or according to the selected plan. We accept payments via our website www. eltcoaching.com or via a one-time mobile pay link provided by your tutor/coach.

Payment is accepted in the form of credit/debit cards only. At this time, we do not accept Google Pay, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle or any other digital app-based payment provider. Payment methods may be subject to change in the future at our discretion.

All prices are listed in U.S. dollar currency only. This preference is subject to change without notice.

b)  Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancellations

Cancellations made any time prior to the 24-hour-period before your scheduled session will be fully refunded.

Cancellations made within the 24 hour-period before your scheduled session are non-refundable.

Example of a fully refundable cancellation:

You book a session for 10:00 A.M. E.T., Monday, March 8th, 2026.

You give notice of cancellation by email, text, or phone call at 9:00 A.M. E.T., Monday, March 7th, 2026.

You have cancelled prior to the 24-hour period before your session; therefore, you will receive a full refund.

Example of a non-refundable cancellation:

You book a session for 10:00 A.M. E.T., Monday, March 8th, 2026.

You give notice of cancellation by email, text, or phone call at 10:30 A.M. E.T., Monday, March 7th, 2026.

You have cancelled within the 24-hour period; therefore, you will not receive a refund.

Refunds and Missed Sessions

Missed sessions without prior notice are considered no-shows. No-shows are non-refundable. You may, however, schedule another session in the future.

c)  Rescheduling Policy

Cancellations are eligible for rescheduling. You may reschedule by reaching out to eltcoaching@proton.me before your coaching session begins.

5. Scheduling and Attendance Policy

Sessions must be scheduled in advance via our booking platform on www.eltcoaching.com. Clients are responsible for showing up on time. Late arrivals will result in reduced session time.

Clients who arrive to their scheduled session twenty (20) minutes past the start time will be considered a no-show. No shows are non-refundable.

Repeated no-shows (two times or more within a 3-month period) will result in account suspension.

6. Intellectual Property

The following construes our intellectual property policy:

• You retain full ownership of your written work.
• We retain all rights to coaching materials, templates, and tools shared during sessions.
• You may not reproduce, resell, or distribute our materials without written permission.

7. Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and will not share any details of your work, your personal information, or our online session without your written consent. You agree not to share any confidential methods or materials used in our sessions.

8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Our Services are provided “as is.” We do not guarantee specific outcomes such as higher academic grades, admission to any program or institution, or any other expected outcome other than what is established between the coach and the client.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ELT Coaching is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use our Services.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or refuse Services if:

• Payment is not received.
• These terms are violated.
• Abusive or inappropriate behavior is displayed.

Clients may cancel services at any time but are still subject to our refund policy.

10. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution through informal communication. If unresolved, disputes shall be handled under the laws of the state of Florida and resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If you have supplied us with an up-to-date email address, you will be notified of changes, and continued use of our Services after such changes indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
